From the 20th September to 16th October 2016, the United Nations System Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN, one of the precursors to UN-Nutrition) facilitated an online discussion to gather input on the question of how the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition could best achieve its goal. Participants were asked to share their expectations for the Decade, and in particular, how it could make a difference in improving nutrition in their own countries. The consultation also asked which critical activities need to be included in the Decade’s Work Programme, which specific activities would need to be accelerated in countries, and how we can work together to improve the quality of commitments. Participants from 48 countries responded through 119 individual contributions.
